Your paper and card is taken to a paper sorting facility in Trafford. Here it is
sorted and graded. It is then bailed and transported to a number of reprocessors for recycling back into new products.
Putting things such as blister packs, plastic bags, face wipes, polystyrene food trays, leftover food or nappies in the paper and card bin reduces the quality and affects the recycling process. This lowers the value of the paper and card and can cost your council money.
