How do I get rid of business waste?

You must register if you do any of these things as part of your business:

To register for a waste carriers licence, visit the gov.uk website

You can be fined up to £5,000 if you don’t register.

What do I do with hazardous waste?

If you are disposing of hazardous waste note, you will need to complete a consignment note which you can download from the .gov.uk website. The consignment note must stay with hazardous waste until it reaches its final destination.

How much does it cost?

Business waste is chargeable.

For health and safety reasons, PPE must be worn when recycling or disposing of your business waste at one of the waste transfer facilities below.

If you do not have the appropriate PPE, you will not be able to use the waste transfer facilities.

You can dispose of your business waste at one of the sites listed below.  Please note the opening times and the type of waste that is accepted varies between facilities.

All facilities are closed on Christmas Day (25th December) and New Year’s Day (1st January).

You cannot take business waste to any of the Recycling Centres.  This is strictly for household waste and recycling only.
