These are strictly for household waste and recycling only. You can dispose of your business or trade waste at a SUEZ waste transfer facility. PPE must be worn when visiting.
Every business that produces waste in the UK has a legal ‘duty of care’ to manage it properly until it’s recycled or disposed of. You must register to carry your own waste and keep the correct paperwork for at least two years.
SUEZ operate 8 waste transfer stations, see below for details on locations, opening times, and the types of business waste accepted at each station.
You must be registered for a waste carrier’s licence if you do any of these as part of your business:
• Transport waste
• Buy, sell or dispose of waste
• Arrange for someone else to buy, sell or dispose of waste
You will need to set up an account, please send an email to contractmanagergm.uk@Suez.com. Please allow up to 3 days for your account to be set up.
You will be asked to fill in a credit application form and a Direct Debit form. You will need to provide the following information:
If you are just making a one-off visit to dispose of your business waste, you don’t have to set up an account. When you visit, you will need a credit or debit card to make payment. You will still need to wear the required PPE listed below.
If you are disposing of hazardous waste you will need a consignment note, please visit hazardous-waste-consignment-note(opens in new tab) for more details. The consignment note must stay with hazardous waste until it reaches its final destination.
For health and safety reasons, PPE must be worn when visiting the waste transfer facilities.
If you do not wear the correct PPE, you will not be able to dispose of your waste and recycling.
You must wear:
• A hard hat
• Safety glasses
• A high visibility jacket or vest
• Safety gloves
• Safety boots or shoes (steel-capped)
When you visit you will need to pay the following fees (prices do not include VAT).
Duty of care (valid for 12 months) is £2.33
Public check/weigh is £15.73
Certificate of destruction is £70.75

You can dispose of your business waste at one of the sites listed below. Please note the opening times and the type of waste that is accepted varies between facilities.
All facilities are closed on Christmas Day (25th December) and New Year’s Day (1st January).
You cannot take business waste to any of the Recycling Centres. This is strictly for household waste and recycling only.
