Monday – Sunday 8am – 8pm

(Open as usual on Bank Holidays)

Closed on Christmas Day (25th December) and New Year’s Day (1st January)

Sort your waste and recycling before you visit,  so you can easily put it in the right container.

Entrance

Due to the height barrier you will not be able to access the Recycling Centre. Please use the weighbridge entrance where council and high-sided vehicles go.

Important information before you visit

Personal protective equipment

From Saturday 1st June, personal protective equipment must be worn when recycling or disposing of waste at Arkwright Street via the weighbridge entrance.

Please wear sensible footwear. On arrival, stay in your vehicle and speak with a member of staff who will provide the appropriate personal protective equipment for you to wear.

Take a proof of address (print or online)

You will need to take your most recent council tax bill or utility bill – gas, electric or landline telephone relating to the property where the waste is from.  Mobile phone bills and driver’s licence are not accepted.
