Come and see how we are working towards a circular economy by repairing , reusing, upcycling and recycling all kinds of things that otherwise would have gone to waste.
Location: Nash Rd, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1SX
A standard 1 1/2 to 2 hour visit includes:
A tour of
- the renew hub looking at the how the donated items are allocated to the shops
- the activities taking place in the repair/ upcycling pods and the charities who work there
- the click and collect / renew Ebay store
- the events area and display pods for upcycled furniture
Take part in activities to;
- identify the opportunities for items that are no longer wanted
- discuss the “Bigger picture” or environmental impacts of certain materials and why a circular economy is the best option
(other bespoke activities may be available by arrangement)
Visits are available to Greater Manchester residents only (excluding Wigan).
- Secondary school groups from year 7 to 11
- Colleges / FE and HE / University groups
- Community groups (no children under 12 year of age)
Regular open days on given dates are available to members of the public to book onto as individuals (please see our events page)
