PLASTIC FREE AND SINGLE USE PLASTICS

Our ‘Single Use Plastics’ information sheet is a useful resource.  

It allows you to: 

• Find out background information about the issues with single use plastics and the movement to encourage people to go plastic free  

• Facilitate a discussion in your group 

• Encourage students to design a poster, a leaflet, a presentation or even an assembly to raise awareness 

If you have an Eco team this could be a great area for them to take action. They could carry out a waste audit and encourage the school to review the purchase of plastic items. How about encouraging the wider school to reduce plastic use in packed lunches?
