Plastics

Plastic bottles go in your mixed recycling bin. This includes bottles such as:

• Cleaning product bottles
• Trigger spray bottles
• Shampoo and shower gel bottles
• Drinks and milk bottles

Some local supermarkets have a plastic bag recycling point that also accepts other sorts of plastic packaging too.

All other plastics go in your general waste bin. This includes things like, plastic pots, tubs, trays, nappies, polystyrene and wet wipes.

Hard plastics such as broken garden furniture, broken toys and hard plastic storage containers can be taken to the recycling centre.
