Plastic toothpaste tubes can be recycled in your mixed recycling bin. You can leave the cap on. Please make sure they are empty.
Please note that no other types of plastic tubes can be recycled. The manufacturers of toothpaste tubes have redesigned the packaging out of HDPE plastic that can be recycled along with plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays.
