By donating or buying second hand furniture you can help raise funds for charities and local reuse organisations.
We have partnered with Furniture Reuse Organisations across Greater Manchester, to make it easier for you to donate furniture at 10 of our Recycling Centres.
Only clean items of furniture in good condition can be accepted.
Sofas and armchairs must have the fire safety tags attached.
Vehicles over 2 metres high will not be able to access the Recycling Centres, however, some of the charities may offer a collection service.

Recycle all you can this #GBGreenWeek. Luckily, more and more people in Greater Manchester are recycling but we can do better! Don't forget to recycle from all over the house, not just in the kitchen! #GBGreen pic.twitter.com/iP0KKhTS0A
@FulfilledShop The UK market is very restricted & doesn’t have the capacity to take the volumes we generate in GM. Nevertheless, we are constantly in touch with market trends and should the demand for different grade plastics change then we would re-evaluate our waste management strategy [2/3]
