By donating or buying second hand furniture you can help raise funds for charities and local reuse organisations.
We have partnered with Furniture Reuse Organisations across Greater Manchester, to make it easier for you to donate furniture at 10 of our Recycling Centres.
Only clean items of furniture in good condition can be accepted.
Sofas and armchairs must have the fire safety tags attached.
Vehicles over 2 metres high will not be able to access the Recycling Centres, however, some of the charities may offer a collection service.
Batteries are a fire risk so don't belong in your bin. You can #recycle them at most supermarkets or at your local Recycling Centre. Or why not invest in rechargable batteries? #Reuse #WasteLess pic.twitter.com/difagrYpkG
#DYK it takes just 7 days for your recycled newspaper to be back on the shelf as a new newspaper! Luckily, most people in Greater Manchester recycle them #RecyclingFacts #WhatsInTheBox pic.twitter.com/O9QcUIqv8I
