Height Restrictions Removed for Vehicles over 2m

  • To make it easier to recycle we have removed the 2 metre height restrictions at our recycling centres (except Spring Vale in Rochdale and Every Street in Bury).

Why do I need a Permit?

  • The van, pick-up and trailer permit is part of the Trade Waste Access Restriction Policy which was introduced in February 2020. • Any vehicle (including vans) carrying trade waste are not permitted at the household waste recycling centre. The sites are for residents who wish to dispose of their household waste.
